M4 SHUT DOWN AFTER CAR AND LORRY CRASH IN WILTSHIRE
The M4 motorway is closed both ways in Wiltshire following a serious smash between a car and a lorry. The chaos hits westbound lanes between Junction 14 (Hungerford) and Junction 15 (Swindon), plus eastbound lanes from Junction 15 to Junction 13 (Newbury).

Westbound Detours Explained
- Exit M4 at Junction 14.
- At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A338.
- Follow A338 for 3 miles to the A4 mini roundabout, turn right towards Hungerford.
- At next roundabout, take second exit into Charnham Park, then turn right onto the B4192.
- Follow B4192 through Aldbourne for 13 miles to the A419 roundabout.
- Take first exit onto A419 to rejoin M4 at Junction 15.
Eastbound Diversions
- Leave M4 at Junction 15.
- Take first exit at roundabout onto A419.
- At next roundabout, take fourth exit onto B4192.
- Drive 13 miles via Aldbourne.
- Turn left at junction with Charnham Park onto A4 roundabout.
- Follow ‘hollow circle’ diversion signs to A34 interchange.
- Use second exit at A34 roundabout to reach M4 Junction 13.
- Rejoin M4 eastbound.
