Police Seek Witnesses After Women Assaulted in Birmingham Park

West Midlands Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault on two women in Aldridge Road Recreation Ground last Sunday.

The incident occurred on 6 October at approximately 3.55pm when two female park-goers were approached by an unidentified male. According to police reports, the man attempted to prevent the women from leaving the park and physically grabbed one of them before they managed to escape.

Authorities have released an image of a person of interest they wish to speak with in connection to the incident.

Police Seek Witnesses After Women Assaulted in Birmingham Park

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police stated, “We are urging anyone who was in or around Aldridge Road Recreation Ground on Sunday afternoon to come forward if they witnessed anything suspicious or have any information that could assist our investigation.”

The police are particularly keen to hear from individuals who may have been in the park between 15:30 and 16:30 on the day in question.
