Police Hunt Man After Women Attacked in Birmingham Park

West Midlands Police are on the lookout for a suspect following a frightening assault on two women in Aldridge Road Recreation Ground last Sunday afternoon.

Attack in Broad Daylight

The incident happened around 3.55pm on 6 October. Two women were enjoying the park when a man approached them. Police say he tried to stop the women from leaving and grabbed one of them physically before both managed to break free.

Officer Urges Witnesses to Speak Out

West Midlands Police have released an image of a person of interest they want to question about the attack. A spokesperson said, “We are urging anyone who was in or around Aldridge Road Recreation Ground on Sunday afternoon to come forward if they witnessed anything suspicious or have any information that could assist our investigation.”

Officers are especially keen to hear from anyone in the park between 3.30pm and 4.30pm that day.
