Woman, 78, Dies After Medical Emergency in Dagenham
A 78-year-old woman tragically died following a medical emergency on Hatfield Road, Dagenham, near Hedgemans Road. The incident unfolded just before 7pm on October 30, sparking a rapid response from emergency services.
Emergency Crews Rush to Scene
London Ambulance Service and Metropolitan Police were quick to arrive. Ambulance teams, a paramedic in a fast response car, and an incident response officer all attended to the woman. Despite their best efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Death Treated as Unexpected But Not Suspicious
Authorities say the death is unexpected but not suspicious. A report is being prepared for the coroner.
“We were called at 6.53pm to reports of a medical incident in Hatfield Road, Dagenham. Our crews assisted emergency services at the scene. Sadly, despite their best efforts, a woman died at the scene,” said a London Ambulance Service spokesperson.
