Burglaries and Car Break-Ins Rock Stubbington and Gosport Overnight
Hampshire Police are on high alert after a spate of burglaries and car break-ins hit Stubbington and Gosport between the night of November 3 and early hours of November 4. Locals have been left rattled as officers scramble to find the culprits behind the brazen raids.
What’s Been Stolen?
- Nicholas Avenue, Gosport: Between midnight and 5:30 a.m. on November 4, thieves stole rings, cash, and airsoft gear from a home.
- Gosport Road, Stubbington: Jewellery was pinched during a break-in between 12:25 a.m. and 5:45 a.m. on the same morning.
- Village Close, Stubbington: Burglars stole a purse while rifling through a home overnight on November 3. A car on the driveway was searched but left untouched.
- Village Close Car Break-Ins: Two more vehicles were entered and searched in the area, though nothing was stolen.
- Northways, Stubbington: At around 3:30 a.m., a man was caught shining a torch into a car but made off without entering it.
Police Crack Down with Operation Inquisitive
Hampshire Police have launched targeted patrols under Operation Inquisitive to nail those responsible. Officers are warning residents to double-check their doors, windows, and cars are locked tight.
