A woman in her 60s has tragically died after being struck by a car on Chingford Mount Road on Thursday, November 7. Police were called to the scene at 2:16 p.m., where officers, along with the London Ambulance Service and an Air Ambulance, responded to the incident.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are working to inform her next of kin.
A man has been arrested in connection with the incident, and investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
