Woman in Her 60s Dies in Chingford Mount Road Hit-and-Run
A woman in her 60s tragically lost her life after being hit by a car on Chingford Mount Road on Thursday, November 7.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Police were called at 2:16 p.m. and arrived alongside London Ambulance Service and an Air Ambulance. Despite urgent efforts, paramedics pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
Man Arrested as Police Investigate
A man has been arrested in connection with the incident. Officers are working to inform the victim’s next of kin and continue to investigate the crash’s circumstances.
