Police responded to a call at 3:39 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, after reports of a man breaking windows at a property on Plaistow Lane, Bromley. The initial reports also suggested that the man may have been carrying a weapon.

Officers promptly arrived at the scene and arrested the individual on suspicion of criminal damage. Following the arrest, police confirmed that there was no evidence to suggest the man was in possession of a weapon during the incident.

The suspect sustained injuries to his hands and was taken to a hospital for medical treatment.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and authorities are assessing the damage caused.

 

A Spokesman for the Met Police said: Police were called at 1539hrs on Saturday, 9 November, to reports of a man breaking windows at premises in Plaistow Lane, Bromley. It was also reported that he was allegedly in possession of a weapon. Officers attended and arrested a man on suspicion of criminal damage. There is no evidence that he was in possession of a weapon.

The man was taken to hospital suffering injuries to his hands.
