Sydenham Shooting Victim Named as Curtis Green
Detectives have identified the man killed in a shocking triple shooting in Sydenham. Curtis Green, 30, died after being shot on Wells Park Road on Sunday, 10 November.
Tragic Death and Ongoing Investigation
Police were called to Wells Park Road at around 10:10am. Curtis was found with gunshot wounds and despite the efforts of officers and ambulance crews, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Curtis’s family, supported by specialist officers, described him as “a happy, excited, and beautiful” man. They revealed he was an entrepreneur, running a clothing brand and a local fitness company. He was also due to become a father in five months.
Police Appeal for Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Chief Inspector Samantha Townsend leads the investigation and urged anyone with information to speak up. “Three people were shot, and sadly one has lost their life,” she said.
“We want to hear from anyone who attended a party on Hensford Gardens, SE26, where Curtis was before the shooting. If you were there or know anything, please contact us immediately.”
Two Others Injured, No Arrests Yet
- A woman was shot in the legs and has non-life-threatening injuries.
- A third person also sought medical treatment with minor injuries.
- Police have made no arrests so far.
