Gloucestershire Cop Busted Over Terror Links

Suspected Support for Hamas

Police Speak Out
“The arrest of a serving officer on suspicion of such a serious offence will no doubt cause our communities concern, as it does everyone who works for Gloucestershire Police,” said Assistant Chief Constable Arman Mathieson. “It’s important to note the suspected support relates to activity online, and the searches taking place are primarily to locate digital devices for analysis.”
He added the investigation aims to be swift and thorough and urged the public to avoid jumping to conclusions.
Ongoing Investigation
The officer remains in police custody outside Gloucestershire as specialists continue the probe. Authorities are sifting through digital evidence seized to uncover the full extent of any wrongdoing.
