Two nabbed in Kettering drugs bust land hefty jail time

Police swoop on Windmill Avenue flat

Simon Paul Stewart, 50, formerly of Kettering, and 31-year-old Yannick Zoucouba, with no fixed address, were arrested on July 8 last year after officers executed a drugs warrant at a Windmill Avenue flat in Kettering.

Drugs haul and dealer kit uncovered

During the search, police seized 14g of heroin, 15g of crack cocaine, three mobile phones including a burner, and drug-dealing paraphernalia such as scales.

Charged with intent to supply Class A drugs

Both men were arrested at the scene and charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs — heroin and crack cocaine.

Jail sentences handed down at Northampton Crown Court

On Friday, January 31, Stewart was sentenced to five years and six months in prison after being found guilty following a December trial. Zoucouba received three years after pleading guilty earlier.
