Man Charged with Attempted Murder After Brutal Brixton Bus Brawl

A violent row on a Brixton bus has left a man fighting for his life – and now, a 39-year-old has been charged with attempted murder.

Nathan Grant, from Lambeth Walk, Brixton, was arrested after a savage scuffle on a route 59 bus along Brixton Road at around 10:20am on Thursday, 21 November. The fight left a 40-year-old victim critically injured, rushed to hospital with serious wounds.

Grant faced Croydon Crown Court on Saturday, 22 November, charged with attempted murder and theft. He’s been remanded in custody and is due back at the Old Bailey on 20 December.

Police Hunt for Witnesses

The Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime Command is leading the probe. So far, no weapons have been reported, but cops continue to dig into the details.
