Man Arrested After Train Crashes Into Buffers at London Bridge Station

A man has been arrested following an incident where a train crashed into buffers at London Bridge station on Friday afternoon (December 13).

The incident involved a Southern service operated by Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR), which was traveling at low speed as it entered platform 12 at approximately 3.45pm.

Emergency Response

The British Transport Police (BTP) attended the scene and confirmed that a man was arrested on suspicion of endangerment on the railway. He has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
The British Transport Police and RAIB are expected to provide further updates as their investigations progress.
