Alongside Curtis, two others—a man and a woman—were also shot. The man survived, but the woman remains hospitalised with a long road to recovery ahead.

Detective Chief Inspector Samantha Townsend, leading the homicide probe, said:
“We have made progress and thank those who’ve come forward. But we need a fuller picture of what happened that morning. Two people are on police bail while inquiries continue. If you were at the party or saw anything outside Hensford Gardens, even if you left before the shooting, please get in touch.”
“Curtis’s family is facing Christmas with unanswered questions. Any information, no matter how small, could be vital. We will protect your identity wherever necessary.”
Family’s Heartbreaking Plea
Curtis’s family described him as a “happy, excited, and beautiful” man who worked hard to uplift his community.

“We urge the community to stand up for justice and end the violence that is happening far too often. Curtis was a father-to-be, with a child due in five months. Our family is heartbroken, and the pain will never leave us.”
