A 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital after being stabbed in Roundwood Park, Willesden, on Friday afternoon (December 20). The incident occurred at approximately 1:50 pm, prompting a swift response from emergency services.
Police and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service attended the scene and treated the boy before transporting him to hospital. His injuries have been confirmed as non-life-changing.
A crime scene remains in place at the park as officers carry out investigations. Half of the park was cordoned off following the stabbing.
The suspect in the attack is still at large, and no arrests have been made so far. Officers are actively searching for the perpetrator and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
“Police responded to reports of a stabbing at around 13:50hrs on Friday, 20 December in Roundwood Park, NW10. Officers attended alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service. The victim, a 14-year-old boy, was taken to hospital with injuries that are non-life-changing. Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”
