The victim of a fatal stabbing in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, has been named by friends as 18-year-old Noah Smedley.
Police were called to Heanor Road at 8:20 pm on Saturday, December 28, following reports of a stabbing. According to Derbyshire Police, the attack took place on Rose Avenue, and Noah tragically succumbed to his injuries on Heanor Road shortly before 9 pm.
Authorities have confirmed the arrests of seven suspects as part of the ongoing investigation. Among them, four 17-year-old boys have been detained on suspicion of murder. Additionally, a 52-year-old man, a 15-year-old girl, a 16-year-old girl, and one of the 17-year-old boys are suspected of assisting an offender.
