A bedroom fire broke out at a house in Wild Ash Croft, Sittingbourne, prompting a swift response from emergency services. Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) received reports of the incident at 7:50 PM, deploying four fire engines to the scene.
Firefighters, equipped with breathing apparatus, used high-pressure hose reel jets to bring the flames under control. One person was treated at the scene and passed into the care of SECAmb paramedics.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
