Investigators are seeking witnesses following a robbery that occurred on Christmas Eve in Sittingbourne. The incident happened between 9pm and 9:15pm as the victim was walking along Murston Road.

Incident Details

A man in his 20s reported being approached by two men on electric bikes. The suspects demanded his wallet and, after an assault, stole his mobile phone before fleeing the scene along Canterbury Road.

Suspect Descriptions

The suspects are described as:

  • Suspect 1: White, mid-20s, with long, thick black hair and a beard, wearing a black or grey tracksuit.
  • Suspect 2: White, mid-20s, with short light hair, wearing a balaclava and a black tracksuit.

Police Investigation

Officers have been conducting inquiries, including reviewing CCTV footage in the area. They are now appealing for additional witnesses to come forward, particularly:

  • A taxi driver in a white vehicle who may have passed the scene.
  • Residents with private CCTV in the area.
  • Drivers with dashcam footage who were nearby at the time.
