Six-Month-Old Sophia Keleman Killed in Tenby Multi-Storey Car Park Crash

A six-month-old baby girl has died following a tragic collision in a multi-storey car park in Tenby, Pembrokeshire.

Sophia Keleman, from the Leigh area of Manchester, sustained serious injuries in the incident, which occurred on Thursday. She was rushed to hospital but tragically passed away the following day, Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed.

The force stated that the crash took place on the ground floor of the car park. A man has since been arrested in connection with the incident.

Suspect Charged

Authorities have identified the suspect as Flaviu Naghi, 33, from Wigan. He has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, driving without a licence, and driving without insurance. Naghi appeared before Swansea Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 4 January, where he was remanded in custody. He is scheduled to appear before Swansea Crown Court on 7 February.

Police also confirmed that Naghi was arrested on suspicion of drink and drug driving. However, he has been released on bail for these additional offences pending further investigation.
