Teen Charged Over Knife Scare on Brighton Bus

A 17-year-old boy has been charged after a knife incident on a Brighton and Hove bus last month, Sussex Police confirmed.

Knife Threat on Boxing Day Bus Ride

The drama unfolded on December 26 in the Elm Grove area of Brighton. Witnesses spotted a passenger waving a knife, sparking a quick police response.

Arrest Made and Drug Charge Added

Officers arrested the teenager on January 3. He was held on suspicion of carrying a bladed article in public and possessing a Class B drug.

The unnamed teen was formally charged the next day. He faces court on February 13.
