Garden Pagoda Fire Extinguished in Longfield

A fire broke out in a garden pagoda on Conifer Avenue, Longfield, on the morning of Sunday, January 19, 2025.

Emergency Response

Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded promptly to the incident, deploying two fire engines to the scene after receiving the report at 10:47 AM. Firefighters, equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE) and breathing apparatus, used high-pressure hose reel jets to tackle the flames.

The fire was successfully extinguished by 11:43 AM.

No Injuries Reported

Fortunately, there were no injuries associated with the fire.

Cause of Fire

An investigation determined the cause of the fire to be accidental.
