CCTV Images Released in Investigation of Lost Money in Folkestone

Officers investigating the loss of money by a woman in Folkestone have issued CCTV images of a woman they wish to speak with in connection to the incident.

It was reported that the victim, a woman in her 60s, withdrew a sum of money from a cashpoint outside a supermarket on Park Farm Road at around 3pm on Wednesday, 15 January 2025. After walking away, the victim later realized that the money had been taken. Enquiries with the store confirmed that another individual had taken the cash.

As part of their investigation, Kent Police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the woman pictured in the CCTV images. Officers believe she may have information that could help with the ongoing enquiries.

Anyone who recognizes the woman or has any relevant information is urged to contact Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference number 46/8616/25. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
