Police Appeal for Witnesses After Hit-and-Run Collision in Plymouth

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a hit-and-run collision involving an e-bike and a pedestrian on Mutley Plain.

Incident Details

The collision occurred at around 5.50pm on Tuesday, February 11.

According to reports, an e-bike ran a red light before colliding with a female pedestrian.

The pedestrian sustained potentially life-changing injuries and was rushed to hospital for treatment.

E-Bike Rider Fled the Scene

The rider of the e-bike was thrown from his bike due to the impact but quickly remounted and fled the scene via Belgrave Road.

Appeal for Information

Devon & Cornwall Police are urging anyone who:

  • Witnessed the incident
  • Has dash-cam or CCTV footage
  • May have information on the rider

to come forward and assist with the investigation.
