Midnight Axe Attack Sparks Alarm in St Leonards-On-Sea

Police are hunting three suspects after a brutal early morning home invasion on Kenilworth Road. At around 2:40am on Wednesday, February 12, a man in his 40s was viciously attacked by two men trying to break into his house.

Axe-Wielding Thug Strikes Victim in the Face

One assailant, armed with an axe, landed a savage blow to the victim’s face, leaving him injured. His accomplice, carrying a knife, stood by, while a third suspect, a woman, acted as lookout during the terrifying ordeal.

Suspect Descriptions Released

  • Axe attacker: Black male, 20s, about 6ft tall, medium build, wearing black balaclava, black hoodie, and dark trousers.
  • Knife-wielding man: White male, mid-30s, 5ft 8in, medium build, short brown hair, slight stubble, wearing black hoodie.
  • Female lookout: Around 35, 5ft 6in, average build, short brown hair tied back, baby blue hoodie.

Police Plea: Help Nab These Dangerous Criminals

Detective PC Chris Diamond said: “This appears to be an isolated attack, but it’s shaken the community. We’re determined to catch those responsible. If you saw anything or have footage, please come forward. Your help could be key.”
