Police Appeal for Witnesses Following Serious Collision on A249 Near Stockbury

Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious collision on the A249 near the Stockbury roundabout left two people with serious injuries.

The crash occurred at 10:05pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, when a silver Land Rover Discovery and a black BMW 1 Series collided near the Chalky Lane junction.

Emergency Response

Emergency services, including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service, and Kent Fire and Rescue Service, responded to the scene.

  • A passenger in the BMW, a man in his 30s, was airlifted to a London hospital with serious injuries.
  • A passenger in the Land Rover, a woman in her 30s, was also seriously injured and taken to a local hospital.
  • Both individuals remain in stable condition under medical care.
  • One of the drivers sustained minor injuries and was also treated at a local hospital.

Police Investigation & Witness Appeal

Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is leading the investigation. Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
