Appeal for Information Following Assault in Baker Street, Brighton

Police are appealing for witnesses following a reported assault on a man in Baker Street, Brighton.

The incident occurred on Friday, February 21, at approximately 4.15pm, leaving the victim with minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a 40-year-old man, around 6’1” to 6’2” tall, with blond hair. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded top, jeans, and light-colored boots. Reports indicate that he left the scene in a small white van.

Sussex Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any relevant information to come forward. Those with details are asked to contact police online or by calling 101, quoting reference 234 of 22/02.

Investigators are keen to speak with anyone who may have seen the suspect or has dashcam or CCTV footage from the area at the time of the incident.
