Victim Killed in Front of His Son in Tragic Attack

A Swedish court has sentenced an 18-year-old man to 14 years in prison for the fatal shooting of a Polish national, Michał Janicki, in Stockholm last year.

Shooting Incident in Skärholmen District

The 39-year-old victim, originally from Poland, was shot dead on April 10, 2024, in an underpass in Stockholm after an altercation with a group of youths.

Tragically, Janicki was killed in front of his 12-year-old son while they were walking to a swimming pool in the city’s Skärholmen district.

Court Verdict and Sentencing

After a lengthy trial, the 18-year-old suspect was found guilty of murder and sentenced to 14 years in prison.
