Winchester Jewelers Hit in Armed Robbery
A Winchester street remains sealed off this morning after an armed robbery at a jewellers on Parchment Street. Armed police swooped on the loading bay just after 9am today.
Police Lock Down Area Near McDonald’s
Officers have also cordoned off a loading bay close to McDonald’s following the raid. It’s believed two suspects fled into this area after the heist.
Armed cops are now searching the surrounding streets and have urged the public to steer clear while investigations continue.
Three Suspects Held After Dramatic Raid
One man has been detained at the scene and is helping police with their enquiries. Two more males were nabbed by armed officers away from the location.
