West Midlands Police have issued an urgent appeal to help trace two missing teenage girls from Birmingham.
Mitaya, aged 14, and Hydie, aged 13, have both been reported missing from the Sheldon area and were last seen yesterday (March 9). Officers believe the two girls are likely to be together, and concerns are growing for their safety and welfare.
A spokesperson for the force said:
“We’re concerned for their welfare and are asking for the public’s help to locate them as quickly as possible.”
Police are urging anyone who sees Mitaya or Hydie to call 999 immediately, quoting PID 452667 for Mitaya or PID 452668 for Hydie.
No further details have yet been released about their last known locations or what they were wearing.
Anyone with information that may assist in finding the girls is urged to come forward without delay.
