Swift Arrest After Early Morning Dartford Burglary

Break-in at High Street Business

A suspected burglar was nabbed fast by Kent Police following a break-in at a Dartford High Street business in the early hours of Wednesday, 12 March 2025.

Police were called to the scene at 7.52am after reports that a man broke into the premises before opening time and stole money from the till.

Brave members of the public jumped into action, restraining the suspect until officers arrived. Thanks to their quick thinking, police arrested a 48-year-old local man on suspicion of burglary and a public order offence.

He was taken into custody and remains held as enquiries continue.
