A moped rider was rushed to hospital after a crash with a car on the A274 Sutton Road in Langley this afternoon (Wednesday, March 13).

The collision happened around 1.30pm near the junction with Leeds Road, close to The Plough Inn pub just southeast of Maidstone. Kent Police and paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) swiftly responded to the scene.

The rider suffered leg injuries and was taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital for treatment. Although the exact severity is not confirmed, the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
