Man in 20s Stabbed in Broad Daylight Easter Sunday Attack in Chatham

A violent stabbing shocked Chatham Hill on Easter Sunday afternoon. A man in his twenties was rushed to hospital after being slashed in a disturbing broad daylight assault at around 1:55pm on 20 April.

Emergency Called After Serious Assault

Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before whisking him to hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. But the attack has left locals rattled during the busy holiday weekend.

Two Arrested as Police Launch Investigation

A police cordon blocked off Chatham Hill while forensic teams combed the area. This caused temporary disruption in the usually bustling part of town.

“We are urging anyone who was in the Chatham Hill area around the time of the incident and saw anything suspicious, or who has dashcam or CCTV footage, to get in touch,” a Kent Police spokesperson said.
