One of the suspects was believed to be wielding a machete, sparking panic among residents.

Officers are now urgently appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have dashcam or CCTV footage from the area.

A Kent police force source said:

This was an extremely distressing incident for the young victim.
We take all reports of knife-related crime very seriously and are working at pace to identify those responsible.

Fortunately, the 15-year-old boy was not physically injured during the ordeal, but officers confirmed he was left “shaken and traumatised”.

The two suspects — described as young men wearing dark clothing — were last seen heading towards St Augustine’s Road immediately after the incident.
