Planning a trip to Emirates Stadium? Here’s the best way to get there for matches and concerts.

Whether you’re heading to an unforgettable concert or a thrilling Arsenal match, Emirates Stadium in North London is a must-visit venue — and getting there is easier than you think.

From London Underground and Overground trains to buses and car restrictions, here’s everything you need to know about traveling to one of the capital’s top stadiums.

Tube and Train Access

For most visitors, the London Underground is the fastest and most efficient route to the stadium.

Closest Stations to Emirates Stadium:

  • Arsenal Station (Piccadilly Line) – Just a 3-minute walk from the stadium.
  • Finsbury Park (Victoria, Piccadilly & Great Northern rail) – Approximately a 10-minute walk.
  • Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line, North London Line, Great Northern) – Roughly 10 minutes on foot.

These stations offer excellent connectivity from across London and beyond.

Buses to Emirates Stadium

Car Travel – Not Recommended

Driving to the stadium is strongly discouraged. Emirates Stadium is located in a residential area, and an Event Day Parking Scheme restricts local parking.

Only vehicles with a resident permit may park nearby on match or event days.

If you must drive, consider using park-and-ride schemes or parking farther out and finishing your journey via public transport.

 Attending an Event?

Be sure to plan your route in advance and allow for crowds or delays on match or concert days. Arriving early ensures you can enjoy the electric atmosphere without the stress of travel delays.
