Teen Girl Stabbed in Thornton Heath – Major Emergency Response Underway
A teenage girl has been stabbed in Thornton Heath, triggering a massive emergency response tonight. The attack took place just after 9:30pm on Brigstock Road, near the Boswell Road junction.
Police and paramedics rushed to the scene, but the victim’s condition remains unknown.
Road Closures and Bus Chaos Hit Thornton Heath
Brigstock Road (CR7) is shut both ways as of 11:33pm. Transport for London (TfL) has scrambled to reroute key bus services, causing major disruption:
- Bus routes 198, 250, 450, and N250 are affected.
- Route 198 now terminates early at Thornton Heath Bus Garage.
- Routes 250 and N250 are diverted via London Road, Norbury Crescent, and Melfort Road.
- Route 450 is rerouted from West Croydon Bus Station along Whitehorse Road and Hogarth Crescent.
Locals Outraged Over Escalating Knife Crime
Residents vented fury on social media about the never-ending wave of violence hitting their streets. One Instagram user moaned:
“Can we rest in this town??? One day ffs without bs. We are tired.”
Another asked, “What road in Thornton Heath?” before locals confirmed it was Brigstock Road.

The Met Police have not yet issued an official statement but confirm a crime scene is still active and investigations are ongoing.
