Two Arrested for Fatal Gravesend Stabbing
Kent Police have charged two people with murder after a man was stabbed to death in Gravesend earlier this week.
Chaos on Augustine Road
Officers were called at 10.21pm on Tuesday, 12 August, after reports of a disturbance involving a group outside a private property on Augustine Road. By the time police arrived, those involved had fled the scene.
Shortly after, a man in his 30s was rushed to hospital with stab wounds. Despite medical efforts, he later died.
Suspects in Custody
Detectives quickly launched a murder investigation and arrested a man and a woman just after midnight on Thursday, 14 August. On Saturday, 16 August, 25-year-old Shahim Bulica, an Albanian national, and 31-year-old Erika Korska from Latvia—both living on Augustine Road—were charged with murder.
They have been remanded in custody and are due at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 18 August.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Kent Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has CCTV or dashcam footage from Augustine Road at the time to come forward. A spokesperson said:
“We urge anyone with information, no matter how small, to come forward. This could prove vital to our investigation.”
