Grant Turner Caught Red-Handed
Grant Turner, 38, from Brislington, pleaded guilty to breaking into the Locking Road shop on 31 July. On 2 September, North Somerset Magistrates’ Court sentenced him to six months behind bars. He must also pay £2,146 compensation to the shop damaged in the raid.
Police Praise Swift Action and Community Impact
“We quickly picked up this investigation which led to a timely arrest and charge of Turner,” said PC Ben Marshall of the North Somerset neighbourhood policing team. “This case shows our proactive policing and partnership working, sending a clear message to businesses that offences like this won’t be tolerated.”
