26 People detained after massive drug raids across UK

Hampshire Constabulary have executed 26 drugs warrants this morning as part of Operation Fortress, a partnership approach to shielding your community from drugs, drug related violence and those vulnerable to criminal exploitation. 15 warrants were executed across Southampton. Seven were executed in the Merseyside area and a further four were executed in London. Police in Southampton carried out this operation in collaboration with the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU), The National Crime Agency (NCA), the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) and Merseyside Police, collectively involving 680 officers. Help us to keep your community safe and protect vulnerable people from harm.”
