Six-Year-Old Rushed to Hospital After East Cowes Incident

A six-year-old child was rushed under police escort to St Mary’s Hospital in Newport this morning following a serious incident in East Cowes.

Emergency Services Swarm Cromwell Avenue

Shortly after 10am, emergency crews responded to reports from a new-build home on Cromwell Avenue. Residents were stunned as numerous police cars, ambulances, and a Scenes of Crime officer in forensic gear flooded the street.

One neighbour, who wished to remain anonymous, said: “No one is saying anything. There have been loads of police in the road all morning but nothing has been explained. The family who live there are really nice. I saw one of the children being carried out to an ambulance. I hope the little one is okay.”

Police Cordon Tight as Investigations Continue

The area remains sealed off with police tape, with officers guarding several properties nearby. Scenes of Crime officers have been busy photographing the street, deepening community anxiety about what happened.
