Police Release E-Fit After Woman Tries to Lure Boy Into Car in Baughurst

Police want to speak to this woman after a creepy incident near Tadley last Thursday lunchtime.

Woman Tried to Snag 11-Year-Old Near Leisure Centre

Just before 1pm on September 29, an 11-year-old boy was walking along Brimpton Road, close to the Hurst Leisure Centre in Baughurst. Suddenly, an older model blue car – possibly a Vauxhall Zafira with noticeable scratches down the passenger side – pulled up alongside him.

The woman behind the wheel honked repeatedly, waved him over, and offered him a lift home. The boy wisely refused and kept walking. She didn’t make any physical contact and quickly drove off.

Police Release E-Fit of Woman and Car

Officers have now issued an E-fit of the suspicious woman. She is described as:

  • Wrinkled, pale face with thin lips
  • Wearing thin-framed square spectacles
  • Dressed in a dull-coloured top with a high V-neck and three-quarter length sleeves
