Police issue E Fit after woman tried to entice young boy into her car in Baughurst

Do you know this woman Police would like to speak to her as part of our ongoing investigation into a suspicious incident that took place at lunchtime on Thursday, September 29, in Baughurst near to Tadley. An 11-year-old boy was walking along Brimpton Road close to the Hurst Leisure Centre shortly before 1pm, when he was approached by an older model, blue coloured vehicle with scratches down the passenger side. This was possibly a Vauxhall Zafira. "Police The driver, a woman he did not know, sounded her horn a number of times, waved the boy over and offered him a lift home. He declined and walked on. The woman did not make any physical contact with the boy and drove off. The woman is now described as: • White • Around 60 years • Of thin build • Thick, grey hair that was pulled together with a black hairnet. The hair and the hairnet covered the back of her neck. • A wrinkled, pale face and thin lips • Wearing thin-framed, square-shaped spectacles • Wearing a dull-coloured top with a high V neck and three-quarter length sleeves. Police are keen for anybody who recognises the woman from the efit image with a car like the one described to contact them as soon as possible. Anyone with information is asked to call Police on 101
