Full Closure of A31 Eastbound to Assist in Major Recovery of Lorry that Left the Carriageway in the New Forest

A full closure between between Ringwood and Cadnam on the eastbound carriageway will be in force this evening to assist in the recovery of a 44 tonne lorry that was involved in a collision early on Monday morning after the vehicle left the road and overturned. The closure is required to bring in specialist recovery equipment to assist in bringing the 44 tonne articulated lorry back on to the hard standing road. A full closure with signed diversion will come into effect just after 11pm this evening and will be managed by Highways England. Specialist Recovery Contractors from RD Avery will be over seeing the recovery. More to Follow Later
