A31 Eastbound to Shut Tonight for Massive Lorry Recovery in New Forest
A major disruption is on the way for drivers on the A31 eastbound between Ringwood and Cadnam. A full road closure will start just after 11pm tonight to help recover a colossal 44-tonne lorry that crashed and overturned early Monday morning.
Why the Closure?
The heavy-duty recovery needs specialist kit to haul the huge articulated lorry back onto the hard shoulder. This means the entire eastbound carriageway will be shut while the tricky operation is carried out.
