Kingston Hall Road Shut After Woman Seriously Injured in Collision

Police have closed Hall Road in Kingston following a serious crash that left a woman fighting for her life. The collision involved a silver Vauxhall Corsa and the female pedestrian.

Woman Airlifted to Hospital

The incident happened just after 1pm on Friday, near the College Roundabout junction. Emergency crews, including London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, raced to the scene. The woman was airlifted from the rooftop of the Rose Car Park to a south London hospital with life-changing injuries.

Road Closures and Traffic Disruptions

Hall Road remains closed while Surrey Police officers carry out investigations. Drivers using the Rose Road car park are being diverted due to closures of the nearby one-way system near the police station. Traffic disruptions are ongoing as the scene is cleared and inquiries continue.

“We were called at approximately 12:55 hrs to reports of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Kingston Hall Road. Emergency services attended immediately. The female pedestrian is receiving treatment in hospital. The investigation is ongoing,” said a Met Police spokesperson.
