Traffic Mayhem as Tractor Spills 20 Tonnes of Manure in Chertsey

Chaos erupted in Chertsey, Surrey, after a tractor and trailer tipped 20 tonnes of manure across two lanes at a busy roundabout. The spill blocked the junction of Chertsey Road, Woburn Hill, and St Peter’s Way, causing major disruption.

Roundabout Turned Manure Mess

The overturned trailer dumped a huge load of muck right in the middle of the southbound carriageway, leaving debris scattered and roads at a standstill. Drivers were left crawling through long queues as emergency crews scrambled to clean up the stinking mess.

Massive Clean-Up Underway

A second tractor and two lorries were dispatched urgently to clear the manure and debris. Authorities warned motorists to expect delays while the operation continues. The jam brought traffic grinding to a halt on one of Chertsey’s busiest routes.

Stay tuned for live updates as crews battle to reopen the road and clear the foul blockage.
