Chaos as Four Vehicles Go Up in Flames

Two men have been arrested after a string of suspicious fires in Broadstairs. On the night of Monday, September 12, panic spread as a motorcycle and three cars burst into flames across the town.

The first blaze hit a motorcycle on Hartsdown Road. Later, cars were torched in Millmead Road, Selborne Road, and Argyle Avenue. All fires erupted between 9pm and 11.20pm.

Suspects in Custody as Crime Squad Investigates

Kent Police’s Chief Constable’s Crime Squad swiftly stepped in. Two suspects, aged 20 and 24, were arrested in the early hours of Tuesday, September 13, on suspicion of arson. They remain in custody as detectives dig deeper.

Officers are appealing for anyone who saw anything odd or has CCTV footage to come forward immediately.
