Cyclist treated after being stuck by hit and run driver in Wootton on the Isle of Wight

A man has been treated by Paramedics after he was struck following a hit and run this afternoon on the Isle of Wight. Police and Isle of Wight ambulance both attended the incident involving a white Nissan that failed to stop on Brooke-copse Road and Palmer Road in Wootton on Saturday afternoon just after 4pm. The man was treated and taken to St Mary’s Hospital in Newport. The condition of the man is not thought to be serious. Officers from Hampshire Police have yet to say if they are appealing witnesses or if they are investigating the incident further More to Follow
