Two arrests made in Crowthorne murder probe

Two people have been arrested in connection with a murder which occurred in Crowthorne. A man aged in his twenties from Wokingham and a woman aged in her twenties from Bracknell were arrested last night (5/11) on suspicion of murder. They are currently in police custody. The arrests are in connection with an incident which occurred in Nine Mile Ride, Crowthorne yesterday in which a man sadly died. The road remains closed at this time, and a diversion is in place while officers continue to investigate the incident. The victim’s next of kin have been informed and they are being supported by specially trained officers. Detective Superintendent Ian Hunter, Head of the Thames Valley Police Major Crime Unit, said: “We have made two arrests in connection with this incident, and are continuing with our investigation. “I would like to still appeal for anyone with any information relating to this incident, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number on 101, quoting the reference 685 5/11.”
