Police Hunt John Bond After 170 Threatening Texts to Ex
John Henry Bond, 63, is on the run after bombarding his ex with a staggering 170 threatening texts and over 80 calls in just 24 hours. The relentless harassment unfolded in Haywards Heath between 13 and 21 June 2018.
Harassment Guilty Plea – But Bond Skips Court
Bond admitted to serious harassment but has since dodged his sentencing hearing. Sussex Police have now issued a warrant for his arrest, desperate to bring him to justice.
“Henry Bond bombarded his former partner with a string of threatening and abusive messages, which has caused her a great amount of distress,” said Sussex Police Crime Investigator Carolyn Adams.
“We believe he has committed further offences and urge anyone contacted by him to stay alert and get in touch immediately.”
Whereabouts Unknown – Police Issue Warning
Bond is thought to be hiding in Poole, Dorset. He also has ties to East and West Sussex, as well as Ferndown, Bournemouth, Weymouth, Wimborne, Salisbury, and Ringwood.
