Woman Dies After Horror Crash with Motorcyclist in New Cross

A woman in her late 50s has died following a serious collision involving a motorcyclist in New Cross. The shocking crash unfolded on Amersham Road, SE14 around 10pm on Tuesday, 6 August.

Crash Chaos on Amersham Road

Police and London Ambulance rushed to the scene after reports of a crash involving a motorcyclist and a car. The motorcyclist then struck two pedestrians.

  • The woman pedestrian was critically injured and taken to hospital.
  • Tragically, she died a few hours later, and her family have been informed.
  • The male pedestrian suffered minor injuries.
  • The motorcyclist and the car driver were also treated in hospital for minor injuries.

No Arrests Yet as Police Hunt for Witnesses

Detectives are appealing for anyone with dash-cam footage or information to come forward. The incident remains under investigation with no arrests made so far.

Temporary road closures remain in place around the crash site.
