Police Hunt Continues for Missing Barking Man Dennis Farnall
The search for Dennis Farnall, 62, who vanished from his Barking home just before Christmas, is far from over. Dennis was last spotted on 20 December in Thames View, Barking, wearing a black coat, dark trousers, and dark shoes.
High-Risk Missing Person Investigation
Dennis was reported missing from his Stanley Avenue address on 21 December. Known to frequent Farr Avenue and Bastable Avenue in the Thames View area, his family and police are deeply worried about his safety.
Due to the time he’s been missing, officers have classified him as a high-risk case. Detectives are probing suspicious circumstances to find out if he has come to harm.
Multiple Arrests Made in Robbery and Kidnap Inquiry
On 24 December, police arrested four people in connection with the investigation:
- A 53-year-old man
- A 24-year-old man
- A 47-year-old woman
- A 20-year-old woman
All four were held on suspicion of robbery, kidnap, and perverting the course of justice, but have since been released under investigation.
Ongoing Police Searches and Public Appeal
Several crime scenes across Barking have been combed over by officers. Despite local speculation, police confirm no body has been found.
